Using a new head with different trigger for autolevel And now i get this error after i execute the G29 command, which didn't happen before.

I tried searching for it online, and more people have it but not quite the same. So honestly, i have no clue what could be causing this. I'm using the FL Sun Delta printer with printhead-triggered autolevel. Repetier software v2. Thanks in advance.

Somewhere in repetier there should be a thing called communication log, or gcode log etc and that will have your actual error in it.

That error is the firmware telling you that another unnamed error has occurred. The terminal will have the error in it somewhere. Dreagle likes this. Apparently at least that's where i think it came from I hadn't implemented the part in which the probe is defined as being the tip of the extruder itself.

From there the printer took over and did the G29 without problem. I don't get the error anymore so can't copy it I apologize for asking your help, but thank you guys anyways for the fast response. It's nice to know that there is a place to go, if I'm stuck with a problem in the future.

In the weeks leading up to setting up the printer and the probe, I had read numerous articles and watched a number of videos on the subject, so I thought I was prepared for it.

The first step to installing the probe was printing out a mount for it. Thingiverse has a number of options. I settled on this mount as it was adjustable. After attaching the BLTouch, I had to run the extension wires through the sleeve that had the other wires. This was a little bit of a pain.

The only mistake I made here that bit me later on is that the extension cable became disconnected and the BLTouch failed to operate causing the nozzle to hit the build plate. The second lesson is to always make sure the BLTouch performs its self test when the printer powers up. After the wires were run, I had to attach them to the motherboard. The BLTouch has 2 connections; the first is done through a pin 27 connector and is just unplug the LCD cable, plug in the connector, plug in the LCD again and attach the 3 wires from the BLTouch making sure the orientation was correct by verifying the labeled pins were attached to the correct, color coded wires.

The second part of attaching to the motherboard was to replace the Z axis end stop. The extension cable I bought had a non-keyed connector that just plugged in. On my second poke at the motherboard due to troubleshooting the connector that came loose as I mentioned earlierI decided to just cut the wires on the Z axis end stop, solder on the extension cable and use some heat shrink tubing.

I had to make sure the white wire was towards the front and the black wire was towards the back. This was a much better connection and has less of a chance of coming close. After I buttoned up the motherboard, it was onto the firmware. Once I initially got the printer setup and running properly, I upgraded the firmware mostly to know that I had thermal runaway protection and had the latest changes. Compiling the firmware was straightforward and explained in various posts and videos.

I did read the manual, I found these settings and adjusted them accordingly. It probes more to the left side of the bed than to the right. Good morning. In my environment, the probe moves down after the head moves to the X 0, Y 0 position. However, the defined positional relationship is not effective, and the probe descends outside the bed, so the head hits the head and the stepping motor slips.

Now, I am commenting out the definition below and defining it. Because the definition is not reflected, the cause was investigated. I feel that it is caused by other unknown definitions so far. I know I do not have the same board, but take a look at my configuration, and compare it may help you find an answer if you do find the answer please share it on this thread.

This is core functionality which I have tested a lot in the past week, so I would be surprised if it is not functional. Instead I use through octoprint bed visualizer or pronterface and type : G28 G29 T1 V4 the 4 is just to get as much info as possible in the the terminal.This is the vanilla version of Marlin Firmware 2.

Please note that this is not the version I recommend for 8-bit boards like the one used in the Ender 3. The most stable and feature rich version of the firmware for this architecture is the 1. Marlin 2. Anyway, if you want to try this you can be sure I did the best I could to configure it properly and fit the maximum amount of features possible. It was downloaded and installed more than times and I believe most of the users will find no problems with it.

Problem With BLTouch Sensor

It always thinks that Z0 is the Position Z was in when I powerd the printer up. After that I can write my Z offset or not? Pin for gamma stepper direction, add '! All configuration is ignored if false extruder. Only P2. Pin to read min endstop, add a! Change to nc to prevent conflict. BLTouch Servo Settings switch.

Must be an odd number. You say you don't know how to probe the Z axis, but your file has the G30 so I'm not sure what the problem is precisely. Forum Thread.
