Living in Canada I'm not getting much information on what garam foods to avoid and which exactly are thandi foods : Need some advice Parm.
Add a comment. Parm Congrats for this new journey and a blessing Hi Parm, congrats I guess as Mansi said, Chinese food contains ajino moto which can be avoided. Parm, Mansi and Rashu, I dont know about tasseer and am pretty sure Mansi and Rashu can guide through it. But regarding chinese. It is specifically chinese in India which contains the ajinomoto. It is added to enhance the taste of the sauces for our Indian tastebuds. But authentic chinese is too bland for us to have, and I could never have it.
So a lot depends on the country. OH Thanks Avan. As rashu said. MSG or ajinomotto shd b avoided though thr is no much of evidence as to hw bad its is for foetus.
People, I feel the diet depends a lot on the place where you live. As per the dietitian in the hospital to which I was referring, have everything in moderation. All foods are necessary as long as they are healthy hence you need to be careful in cases of cheese for bacteria, fish for mercury etc.
But you need to decide which is to be taken in more and which less. So you cannot live in a cold climate and keep having a lot of curd which is a coolant. Similarly, if you live in a hot city, you cannot have a lot of dryfruits, or your body temperature will increase exponentially.
Everything should be had in moderation. All fruits are very rich sources of roughage. So why not? Infact, even a little bit of coffee is in no way harmful unless it is had in excess.
